Feeding Directions

Give Digest and Yeast Guard once daily and Gut Guard twice daily (full dose twice a day) or as directed by your veterinarian. Follow label instructions.

For the best results:

• Give your dog Yeast Guard Plus over 30-60 days or as recommended by your vet.
  
• Give your dog high-quality foods without starches and pesticides.
  
• Once symptoms begin to clear up, continue supporting your dog’s gut with Protect (sold separately). Protect is a veterinary formulated probiotic and it’s designed to help prevent Candida and yeast overgrowth.

How long will it take for Yeast Guard Plus to work?

Yeast Guard Plus should be used for 60 days at a time, with a 2 - 3 week break in between. How long you need to give it depends on your dog’s response.

After finishing the Yeast Guard Plus bundle, we recommend giving your dog Protect for maintenance.

Can’t I just buy Yeast Guard?

Is the caprylic acid made from MCT Oil or Coconut Oil?

The caprylic and capric acid in Yeast Guard are made from organic, human grade MCT oil derived from coconut oil. Because coconut oil is half lauric acid (an inflammatory saturated fat), we use high quality MCT oil without lauric acid. 

What diet changes can I make to help my dog detoxify from yeast?

One of the best ways to help avoid yeast is to stay away from foods that are rich in sugars and starches. Processed, dry dog foods are typically high in starch and also contain heavy metals that feed yeast, including fluoride and pesticide residues. For best results, feed a low carbohydrate diet and avoid heavy metal exposure.

Is it true that heavy metals feed yeast?

Yeast loves metals so it’s best to avoid them. An organic diet will help to avoid heavy metals since they’re commonly found in pesticide residues like glyphosate. Heavy metals can also be found in processed dog foods, low quality fish oils and fluoridated water. It’s best to limit your exposure to these common sources.

When is the best time to give Yeast Guard Plus?

Gut Guard and Yeast Guard can both be given with food, while Digest should be given between meals. 

Should I keep these products in the fridge?

We recommend keeping all Four Leaf Rover products in the fridge to maintain freshness. But if space is limited, you can store Gut Guard in a cool, dark place.
